ZipHop Terms of Service
Last updated: September 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Rimrock Apps, LLC, a Washington State limited liability company ("Rimrock Apps," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the ZipHop mobile application (the "App" or "ZipHop"). By downloading, accessing, or using ZipHop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What ZipHop Does
ZipHop helps you plan when to leave for a flight. It calculates an estimated "leave-by" time based on information you provide (such as your flight details and departure address) and estimates for drive time, airport parking or rental car return, security wait times, and similar factors. Some of this information comes from third-party data sources (see Section 6); where real-time data isn't available, ZipHop falls back to reasonable estimates.
ZipHop is a planning aid, not a guarantee. Please read Section 7 carefully — it explains the limits of what ZipHop can promise.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ZipHop. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
3. Your Account and Data
ZipHop does not currently require you to create an account with a username and password. Trip and profile information you enter (such as saved home/work addresses, security program status, and lounge memberships) is stored on your device. How we handle any data that is transmitted — including to third-party services described below — is covered in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
ZipHop is free to use for your first one (1) trip. After that, continued use requires either:
- ZipHop Premium (Yearly): $5.99 per year, auto-renewing, or
- ZipHop Lifetime: $9.99, a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited trips permanently.
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store, and are subject to Apple's own terms and payment methods on file with your Apple ID — Rimrock Apps does not collect or store your payment information.
Yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Pricing is subject to change; if we change the price of a subscription you're already on, we'll provide notice as required by Apple's guidelines before the change takes effect.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's own refund policies. Rimrock Apps does not process refunds directly.
5. Free Trial Limit
The one-free-trip limit is enforced per device/installation. Reinstalling the App or using a different device does not entitle you to additional free trip plans beyond what's fairly intended by this limit, and we reserve the right to adjust how this limit is enforced to prevent abuse.
6. Third-Party Data and Services
ZipHop relies on third-party services to provide certain features, including:
- Flight status and schedule data (via FlightAware's AeroAPI)
- Drive time estimates (via Google's Routes API, when a departure address is provided)
- Payment and subscription processing (via Apple's App Store and RevenueCat)
These third parties operate independently of Rimrock Apps. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the accuracy, availability, or continued operation of these third-party services. If a third-party service is unavailable, incorrect, or discontinued, ZipHop may fall back to estimates or may not function as expected.
7. No Guarantee of Accuracy — Please Read This Section
ZipHop's leave-by times, drive times, security wait estimates, and all other timing information are estimates only. They are based on a combination of real-time data (where available) and reasonable assumptions, and they can be wrong. Actual traffic, security wait times, airport conditions, flight schedule changes, and countless other factors can differ from what ZipHop predicts.
You are solely responsible for your own travel planning and for arriving at the airport with enough time to make your flight. ZipHop is a helpful tool, not a substitute for your own judgment, buffer time, or checking directly with your airline and airport for current conditions.
Rimrock Apps is not responsible or liable for any missed flights, travel delays, financial losses, or other consequences that result from relying on ZipHop's estimates. See Section 9 for the full limitation of liability.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use ZipHop for any unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by applicable law;
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or the servers/networks it relies on;
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App in a way that sends more requests than a human could reasonably send;
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity while using the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for anyone who violates these Terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimates it provides will be accurate.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RIMROCK APPS, LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, A MISSED FLIGHT, OR OTHER TRAVEL-RELATED LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) TEN U.S. DOLLARS ($10.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Intellectual Property
ZipHop, including its design, branding, and underlying code, is owned by Rimrock Apps, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal device for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
11. Changes to the App or These Terms
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of ZipHop at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; if we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of ZipHop after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using ZipHop at any time by deleting the App from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Sections 6 through 10 and 13 through 15 survive termination.
13. Apple App Store Terms
Because ZipHop is distributed through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
- These Terms are between you and Rimrock Apps, LLC only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the App.
- In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party claim that the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or ZipHop shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
